Edel Sider is made on Åkre Farm on the west coast, a place where the abundant apple orchards reach all the way down to the edge of the beautiful Hardanger Fjord. Their dry ciders are made with apples at the base, joined with flavors of local raspberries and gooseberries.

Åkre Gård is located on the western side of Sørfjorden in Ullensvang Herad in Hardanger. The farm has been in the family's possession for several generations, and is today owned and run by Arita and Gjermund Åkre.
The apples used in Edel Sider preferably come from our own organic apple production with apple varieties such as Gravenstein, Summerred, Aroma and Dicovery. They sell in Norway, and also have shipments to Hong Kong. Edel Cider was awarded two gold and two silver prices at Cider World in Frankfurt in 2018.
