Trondheim Brewery Festival

Trondheim July 30. - August 1. 2020

Trondheim Brewery Festival is a celebration of the art and craft of brewing of all kinds from the unique Trøndelag region, where the focus is on flavor, culture, history and tradition. It's a unique festival experience in the heart of town.

Trondheim Brewery Festival is held in Trondheim July 30. - August 1. 2020, and is dedicated to all things brewing; coffee, tea, kombucha, and of course the beers; specialty beers, handcrafted beers, small batch beers.

This year we have our first brewers of mead, the old Viking brew with a modern twist. And, as we have such pleasant tasting apples in Norway we will be showcasing our first cider brewer at the festival. All of these represent the best of brewers from the Trøndelag region, other parts of Norway, as well as from Spain, Sweden and England.

Come visit Norway's longest bar where you will get to taste countless styles of brews, meet the brewers themselves and learn about brew and food pairings. In our festival restaurants you can choose from a variety of dishes, all based on local ingredients.

Trondheim Brewery Festival is put on by Oi! Trøndersk Mat og Drikke, a non-profit and stock-based company working to create more visibility, revenue and celebration of local producers and brewers in the Trøndelag region.

The festival was held for the first time in 2013, and has evolved into becoming a popular arena for brewing skills, showcasing the best of craft brew from the region and the country as a whole.

As we go for quality above quantity, we have no ambitions of becoming the largest brewing festival there is. But a lot of people think we are the best craft brew festival, and that's something we continue to work for!
