Berentsens Brewhouse

The family-owned Berentsens Brew House was established in 1895, and even today it is run as a family business by the fourth and fifth generation. They brew everything from traditional pilsners to the most popular and creative beers, all while winning international awards.

Show me the way

Beer should not be stressed. Neither when brewing nor enjoying. For the Berentsens, beer is craftsmanship, whether it's a well-balanced lager or a sour beer made with mullets. They refine all their beers for a minimum of four weeks, and lager types such as lagers are never matured for less than six weeks. The Berentsens believe that the course of nature is what gives the best taste - so even if they could - they don't want to go from "grain to bottle" in two weeks.

In the brewery, even the wildest imaginations are given room to unfold, and sometimes they are in the gray zone, other times they blow the boundaries completely. Call it exploratory urges and childlike curiosity.

They also have applesauce and cider.
