Bådin

In 2012 six buddies with a passion for great beer founded Bådin Brewery in Bodø, a town in Northern Norway close to the Arctic Circle. They enjoy brewing balanced craft beer inspired by Belgian and American styles. They source as much as they can locally, and have put Bodø on the map when it comes to high quality craft beer.

Show me the way

Bådin is the story of a group of friends who, in search of good taste, took the brewing out of a small apartment to play with the big boys.

The plan was initially to produce beer to be sold at a pop-up pub once a month. They quickly realized that this would entail a lot of work and little income, and the original plan was therefore adjusted. A used 800 liter brewery was bought in and the beer produced was sold in local bars and restaurants. Until the employment of a full-time brewer in 2015, all work was done on a voluntary basis.

Since then, Bådin has gradually spread, and can now be ordered from all Vinmonopols in Norway. In addition, they can be found in a number of bars and restaurants around the country.
