World Cheese Awards comming to Trondheim 26.-28.october 2023.

Cheese lovers from all over the world is gathering in Trondheim when over 4500 cheeses fight to be named the world's best cheese, for the 35th year in a row. The judging is carried out by around 250 national and international judges, and it all ends up in a Superfinal where the world's best cheese is chosen.

In addition to the competition which will be held in the D-Hall, there will also be a Foodhall in the F-Hall. In the Foodhall, partners will be on stands and give presentations from the stage, there will be a restaurant and, in addition, activity stands for children and young people.

In the commom area between the halls, there will be taste test, also known as "Ostelandet Norge", a photo exhibition about traditional Norwegian cheese making and international stands.

Setup, Thursday 26.10.23 (Daytime)

Event, Friday 27.10.23 (Morning/morning & morning/afternoon)

Event, Saturday 28.10.23 (Morning/morning & morning/afternoon)

Clean up, Sunday 29.10.23 (Daytime)

 

We are looking for people who:

  • Have good pair of walking shoes - these will be days with a lot of activity and you will mostly be on your feet.
  • Is good at communicating with guests, preferably in different languages, is service oriented and goes the extra mile
  • Can work a minimum of two shifts during four days
  • Are older than 18 years old

 

As a volunteer you get:

  • World Cheese Awards t-shirt
  • 1 meal each shift
  • Information and training in advance
  • The opportunity to get a certificate for completed voluntary efforts
  • Access to the event on the days you do not work (2 days voluntary = 2 days with admission. 1 day voluntary = 1 day with admission)
