Mare Balticum

A collaboration with home brewer Svein Fugelsnes, who won the Stranda Porter&Stout festival in 2019, where the prize was to brew the winning beer with Austmann. Together they made a dark, under-fermented porter with cassonade sugar and English hops. Fruity, lots of bitterness balanced with residual sweetness from malt and spicy notes from cassonade sugar. Mare Balticum is deep and dark just like the Norwegian Sea!
