Bjørnør Farm

Quality meat from duroc free pigs and grass-fed bull castrations from the sea gap in Roan.

Show me the way

Bjørnør Gård, on Roan, in Åfjord municipality, on the Fosenhalvøya in Trøndelag, right by the sea - a farm with long traditions, which can be dated back to the 16th century. Now run by Nathalie and Anders Haavimb-Jystad, who bought the farm on the open market in 2017. The land is farmed organically, and we have milk production, grass-fed bull castrates and purebred Duroc free-range pigs. The castrates and free-range pigs live a natural life outside all year round, and such a life by the sea makes quality meat!

We run the farm according to ecological principles, and are constantly striving to become more sustainable and circular economically.
