Are you curious about coffee?
Kaffekokeriet (‘The Coffee Makers’) invites you to an informal coffee tasting session, where the focus will be on coffee roasted in the region of Trøndelag.
During this class you’ll learn about the flavor and aroma of coffee. You’ll learn about the different factors that affect taste, from coffeeberry to coffeecup. For example; the varieties of coffee, the processing of the beans and roasting them. You’ll come to understand more about how individual choices during the process will clearly determine the flavor you experience as a coffee-drinker.
During this class you’ll also learn about the various coffee roasting companies in Trøndelag, and the kinds of coffees they produce.
Kaffekokeriet is a brand new coffee bar that just opened in the Alti Magneten shopping center in Levanger. Their mission is to teach people about the culture of coffee and spread the joy of a great cup of coffee. Behind this new venture is Inderøy Kaffebrenneri (Inderøy Coffee Roasters), they are a micro roastery located in beautiful Inderøy, and they focus on organic specialty coffees.
Coffee roaster and brew master Einun Skorem will be teaching this class. He is known to be a ‘coffee encyclopedia’ and is described as someone who is above average skilled at creating the very best of coffee flavors. He has won The World Kokekaffe Championship three times.
This class will be held in Festsalen in Hornemansgården, use the eastern main entrance facing Torvet (near Sabrura)
